A case against a 43-year-old woman from Bulgaria for domestic violence with her 11-year-old girl was filed by the police of the AT Ialyssos when they were duly informed by the hospital.

More specifically, on the afternoon of May 4, 2023, the police were informed by the hospital that an 11-year-old minor girl is being treated after being injured in an incident of domestic violence at noon of the same day in Ialyssos.

The police immediately went to the hospital and were informed by a doctor and a nurse that the child had a chest wound about seven centimeters long at the level of the medial malleolus of the left ankle, which needed to be stitched.

The minor girl had informed the doctor that at noon of the same day and while they were inside their house at the above address, her mother threw a plate at her, as a result of which it hit her on the lower end of her left leg and caused her the above injury for which he had to be transported by EKAV station to the Emergency Department of G.N. Also, the treating doctors reported that the minor girl also had some abrasions on her hands, specifically on the right and left forearms, as well as on the ends of the hands, which were caused at an earlier time and in their related question about the way the specific abrasions were caused , she replied that her mother caused them about four days ago.

The minor also reported that her mother is often abusive towards her and that she has beaten her several times in the past.
