It took almost 30 minutes nightmare for a 70-year-old businessman and his wife inside their home in the Community of the Municipality of Stylida, where three hooded robbers invaded.

The robbers entered the house, where it is located centrally located in the village square, after breaching one of the entrances, at around 02:10 on Wednesday morning, they went up to the first floor where the couple was sleeping and woke them up.

“We suddenly saw them above our heads…” said the 70-year-old businessman, still shocked by the event. According to him the three perpetrators had their faces coveredwith the hoods from the jackets they were wearing and with the darkness as an ally, their features were not visible.

One, who was probably the leader of the robbery, told him to fluent in Greek to give them the money and gold and they will not bother them, while one of the other two spoke Albanian.

Indeed, the robbers kept their promise and did not bother either the businessman or his wife, but they were not satisfied at 5,000 euros and gold which they gave them and one of the three for half an hour went up and down the whole house, even looking in the basement for extra money or valuables.

The robbers did not take out a weapon and left, without bothering them, but with the warning to don’t call right away the police so they can get away. They left the house and fled in an unknown direction, without being noticed by a neighbor.

The businessman, shocked like his wife, reported the incident to the police a short time later, who started a search, while all possible scenarios and evidence are being examined to identify the perpetrators.
