The Deputy Minister of National Defense, Nikos Hardalias, attended today, Saturday, May 13, the regular exercise of troops guarding vital facilities under the name “Lysimachos 2023”.

As announced, the exercise took place in the area of ​​Lefkogeia K. Nevrokopi, of the Regional Unit of Drama. It was attended by officers and National Guardsmen of the National Guard Battalions of Drama, Kavala and Sidirokastro, of the 10th Infantry Regiment (10 SP).

The exercise was also attended by the commanders of the 1st Army Lt. General Ioannis Tsioplos, the 3rd Army Corps Lt. General Paris Kapravelos and the 10th Army Colonel Adam Sarris, a delegation of executives from the Armed Forces and the Security Forces, as well as retired Army Army executives.

The Deputy Minister of National Defense congratulated all the participants in the training activity for their professionalism, pride, high morale and efficiency in the field, while emphasizing in particular that the Armed Forces proved for the umpteenth time that they are ready, determined and prepared to successfully face any challenge concerning the preservation and defense of the territorial integrity of the homeland.

In addition, N. Hardalias met with the president and managing symbol of the “FHL H. Kyriakides Marbles – Granites ABEE” Group, Ilias Kyriakides, at the headquarters of the group’s offices, in the Industrial Area of ​​Prosotsani, Drama.

N. Hardalias thanked Ilias Kyriakidis for his love and respect for the Armed Forces, as well as his significant contribution with donations for the upgrading of premises and monuments of the Evelpidon Military School.
