“Motherhood for me is the absolute loneliness that I turned into strength and optimism”, says the widow of the late Alexandros Nikolaidis and SYRIZA state parliament candidate, Dora Tsambazi, on the occasion of Mother’s Day.
In a post she made on her personal Instagram account, Ms. Tsambazi wrote: “It’s the moms on the street who meet me and tell me they went through the same thing and we hide in each other’s arms. It’s the moms who tell me they lost their angels and continue to be strong for their other children and I kiss their hand. Today I want to dedicate this day to all of you. Where you are alone and strong, who have lost people you love, and yet you fill those around you with smiles. And may your smiles be soaked for years in your sobs. I am so lucky that you consider me your person.”
