Visitors to the PPC e-bike Festival in Ptolemaida, had the opportunity to try free bikes with electric assistance, and participated in a special raffle for an electric bike
After Heraklion and Kalamata, Ptolemaida was this year the third stop for the PPC e-bike Festival. In the Emergency Park of the city, the Municipality of Eordaia hosted on the weekend of May 13 and 14 the first electric bicycle festival in Greece, during which more than 20 modern models of bicycles with electric assistance, from leading international and Greek companies, were gathered.
Visitors to the PPC e-bike Festival in Ptolemaida, had the opportunity to try free bikes with electric assistance, and participated in a special draw for an electric bike. At the same time, the children took part in an interactive game about the importance of saving energy while enjoying bike rides and many souvenirs.
The aim of the festival, which is being held this year for the second year, in the context of PPC’s strategic energy transition and responsibility for society and the environment, is the information about electric bicycles as a means of urban transport, sport and entertainment.
In the PPC e-bike Festival in Ptolemaida, among others, the Deputy Minister of Transport and Member of Parliament of Kozani, Mr. Michalis Papadopoulos, the Mayor of Eordaia, Mr. Panagiotis Plakentas, the deputy mayors, representatives of cultural and cycling organizations, executives, employees and partners of PPC and also the cycling team of PPC attended among others Cycling Team.
The next stations for the PPC e-bike Festival, the first bicycle festival with electric assistance in Greece, will be announced soon.
