The lawyer was prosecuted last November for the crime of spreading false news, as re-formulated to include protected goods and public health, following the completion of an urgent investigation ordered by the prosecutor’s office through a complaint alleging Mr. Antoniadis and relevant material sent by the Cybercrime Directorate.
Commenting on the postponement of the trial, he noted that the new defendant has “a symbolism: She is the first in the Court of Appeals after the Resurrection”.
