The Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis met this morning with the President of the Democratic Alarm, Averof Neophytou, at the Maximos Palace.
During the meeting, the developments in the Cyprus issue were examined, while Mr. Neophytou informed the Prime Minister about his decision to claim the office of President of the Republic of Cyprus.
Kyriakos Mitsotakis expressed his support for Mr. Neophytou. “I want you to know that we are by your side and I wholeheartedly wish you good strength in the fight you are just starting,” he noted.
At the beginning of the meeting, the Prime Minister and the President of DISY had the following dialogue:

As president of the sister party, the Democratic Alarm, you have led the party to successive victories and successes in Cyprus. Always guided by responsibility and realism and always fighting for the prosperity and prosperity of the Cypriot people.
