Regina Makedou, who has been fighting cancer for three years, uploaded a video on social media in which she called Kyriakos Mitsotakis to give her an answer “who decides how long I will fight?” What did Kyriakos Mitsotakis answer her?
On the occasion of the statements of the now expelled from the ND electoral battle Spyros Pneumatikos the cancer patient Regina Makedou uploaded a video on social media calling him Kyriakos Mitsotakis to answer her “who decides how much I will fight?” I have – we have the right to fight until our souls come out!!!”
She, who often uploads messages of support and encouragement to cancer patients on her accounts to continue their hard fight against the disease, expresses her dissatisfaction with the statements of Mr. Spiritual saying:
“Who gets to decide who can draw the line? My doctors pulled me from death every day even when I thought I was leaving… What is the name of this “sir” doctor…
» For three years I have been fighting like thousands of others… I have seen people who everyone thought were finished winning!!! Who decides how much I will fight? I have- we have the right to fight until our souls are out!!!
» I feel disgust … not sadness!!! I feel shame not anger!!! I feel that the medical association should delete Mr. Pneumatikos because he insults the doctors who save us and fight to the death with us !!!!

In her second post, Mrs. Makedou informed that Kyriakos Mitsotakis contacted her and emphasized “that he is completely opposed to such statements, that he saw my video and that he is sorry that so many people with cancer felt bad!”.
Ms. Makedou’s second post:
“I would never have believed it!!!!! Mr. Pneumatikos is out of the Parliament and out of the ballot, and 5 minutes ago I was talking on the phone with Mr. Mitsotakis himself, who told me that he is diametrically opposed to such statements, that he saw my video and that he is sorry that so many people with cancer felt bad ! Communication was made through Win Cancer and yes, it is a step for the politicians to listen to us.
Don’t start political arguments, they don’t concern me! I hope there are no such statements again by politicians from any party or faction! I don’t care about the party cancer is not politics! Thanks for the prompt response.”
