It still needs to be checked the static adequacy of the bridge and where damage is recorded.

To testify employees who will do the autopsy and the competent employees of the OSE.

The prosecutor’s investigation was prompted by press reports, according to which entire pieces of the construction’s concrete have caved in.

Hellenic Train employees are raising serious questions about the specific bridge in the inner district of Thessaloniki, which passes over the TX2 Sorting Railway Station.

The workers spoke of “days of horror” as they don’t know if the next time chunks of concrete break off the bridge, they’ll fall on a train or even on their own heads while doing some work.

Entire chunks of the structure’s concrete have caved in with the reinforcement oxidizing as it gets more and more exposed, day by day.
