A billion life sentences the 51-year-old AUTH lecturer accused of murdering his 34-year-old wife and her 85-year-old grandmother in Thessaloniki in August 2013 was convicted.
The Mixed Jury Court of Appeal of Thessaloniki judged him unanimously guilty for serial manslaughter and declined to grant mitigating circumstances. The same sentence had been imposed on him in the first instance.
