Get to know SP parties where nudity is allowed (and even encouraged)

There are many options for parties where nudity is allowed, if not encouraged with gifts, in the city of São Paulo. These spaces want to break taboos about the naked body and create a safe environment for free expression. Always with great respect. The rules are clear: without consensus, there is no game.

Nudity is not necessarily required. In cases where stripping is a prerequisite to attending the party, there is some flexibility. For those who don’t feel so comfortable, sarongs and towels are available. In these events, considered naturist, cell phones and cameras are not allowed.

In environments like NossaCasa, the naked body is seen from an artistic point of view, a celebration of diversity. At Kevin Party, the idea is to offer a protected space for LGBTQIA+ people —especially gay men—, where sexual freedom can also be explored in a dark room.

The Nudist Party, on the other hand, has a mostly heterosexual audience, which relates the lack of clothes to a naturist lifestyle. The philosophy preaches self-respect, self-knowledge, respect for others, healthy eating and nature preservation. Within this way of life, there is also the practice of social nudism.

Events have a relaxed atmosphere and attract an open-minded audience. Participants who adhere to this practice circulate without fuss, interact with other people, buy their drinks and make new friends. It is still possible to find DJs and artists doing their performances the way they came into the world.

Below is a list of parties in São Paulo where nudity is allowed or required. As they don’t have fixed days to happen, it’s always good to keep an eye on their social media.

Our home

Right at the entrance, it is already possible to find posters with the words “subject to nudity” and “lose your shame, but don’t lose respect”. The idea of ​​the notices is to present the atmosphere of freedom and awareness of the house, underlining the importance of respecting the other.

NossaCasa receives an average of 600 people per night and considers itself “a cultural space that celebrates diversity, creativity and artistic expression”. According to the organizers, “themed parties and theatrical performances created an environment in which self-expression flourishes in many ways, including through nudity.”

This habit came from artists who felt uninhibited and wanted to express themselves more freely. Initially, this manifestation was more concentrated in events with themes related to theatrical arts, such as the Dionisiac party and the Erotic soirée, in which performances with nudity are part of the repertoire.

Over time, this freedom of expression expanded to all parties. Going without clothes, however, is not a requirement. Nudists are not the majority and getting naked is just a choice of some regulars, which is not repressed by the house. There is also no incentive or space for sexual practices.

kevin party

It appeared in 2014, in a scenario where this type of party was still not openly spoken about. According to organizers, the space was created to be a safe environment for artistic expression and the LGBTQIA+ body on the dance floor.

Today it takes place in Barra Funda, in a place with capacity for a thousand people. In the Pride Month edition, which took place in June, the party took 3,000 people to an industrial warehouse in the neighborhood.

“Our motto is freedom on the dance floor and feeling good in your own skin. For many people, this literally means expressing yourself through your body”, says Rafa Maia, one of the organizers.

The party also has a dark room, where people can freely explore their sexuality. Nudity, however, is present throughout the dance floor.

nudist party

Although dedicated to nudists, naturists, LGBTQIA+, monogamists, non-monogamists, liberals, swingers, exhibitionists and voyeurs, the party has a predominantly hetero audience, made up of couples.

More recently, the event appeared on Valentine’s Day, in June 2022, with the Tardezinha Nudista, which takes place once a month, from 3 pm to 10 pm. In addition to the sunset version, the Nudist Party expanded into the night and started to promote Sextou Nu Neon, also a monthly event that is interspersed with Tardezinha.

The party takes place at the Spicy Club, in Moema. The house has two floors. On the ground floor, there is a lounge, dance floor, bars and an outdoor area, where interaction is not sexual. The upper floor has the structure of a liberal house, with collective rooms and private cabins. According to the rules, in this space everything is allowed, of course, if it is consensual.

Nudity is mandatory. Upon arrival, everyone is welcomed by a hostess (receptionist) and directed to a place where they can undress and store their belongings. New fans, however, are allowed to use towels and sarongs. To ensure everyone’s privacy, the use of cell phones to take pictures or film outside predetermined spaces is prohibited.

PopPornParty

The party emerged as an offshoot of PopPorn, the only pornography festival in Brazil, created 13 years ago by Suzy Capo. PopPornParty values ​​nudity and sexual freedom and has been held since 2015. Today, organized by Marcelo D’Avilla and Thiago Roberto, it takes place once every two months.

The party is dedicated to the universe of pop music and attracts women, heterosexual couples, transvestites and trans women, in addition to black and peripheral people. According to the organization, the independent event “is a pioneer in the movement and has become a reference in the erotic world.”

Giving

Since 2016 it has been held by the same PopPorn organizers. Both parties take place at Teatro Mars, a theater that hosts independent rituals. Considered a “mini PopPorn”, the party, however, focuses on electronic music. It is held every month.
