Among other things, computers, gaming machines and cameras were confiscated
They were arrestedafternoon hours yesterday 11/7 in Kallithea, by police officers of the Directorate for Combating Organized Crime and Human Trafficking, eight people (three employees and five patrons) inside a store of health interest, where it was carried out illegal gambling.
A case-by-case case file was filed against them for violation of the legislation on the regulation of the game market, on the protection of personal data and on addictive substances.
During the surprise police check in a health care store, access to which was carried out using a code on a keyboard located next to a heavy-duty iron door, the following were found and confiscated:
- -53- electronic computers,
- -2- “server” central computer units,
- -2- gaming machines with coin and banknote acceptors,
- -52- screens,
- -2- wireless remote controls (buttons)
- -5- cameras,
- amount of documents,
- The sum of -202- euros and
- trace amount of cannabis
Also, five cameras were operating in the store without permission from the competent authority.
Those arrested were taken to the Athens First Instance Prosecutor.
