38 cases of thefts from houses and 6 thefts of vehicles were solved – The accomplices of the 47-year-old are being sought
In the arrest of a 46-year-old foreigner who committed thefts from country houses in the areas of Troizinia and Ermionida, policemen of the Piraeus Police Department proceeded in the morning hours yesterday to Aspropyrgos Attica.
In particular, the 46-year-old, together with his wanted accomplices, targeted the houses they wanted to break into and then removed valuable items, which they loaded into a vehicle.
In order to investigate the cases of theft, a police team was set up with the aim of identifying and locating the members of the organization.
Following the collection and evaluation of evidence, a case file was created by the Troizina Police Department, pursuant to which an arrest warrant was issued for the 46-year-old member.
From the preliminary investigation, 38 cases of house theft and 6 vehicle thefts were discovered.
In addition, the 46-year-old’s car, which was used as a means of committing the criminal acts, was confiscated.
The arrested person was taken to the Criminal Prosecutor of Piraeus. The search for the remaining members continues.
