The special O Melhor de São Paulo Gastronomia – Restaurantes, Bares e Cuisine brings a selection of more than 900 places to eat and drink in the city, presented according to their specialty and with information about the neighborhoods in which they are located.
In addition to the selection, the project highlights winners elected by the specialized jury and highlights the opinion of city residents through a Datafolha survey, which draws up a list of the best addresses in São Paulo according to São Paulo residents.

BARDEGA
The address has almost a hundred wine options to try: it is one of the largest wine bars in São Paulo, installed in Itaim Bibi. It offers drinks at different price ranges, with servings starting at R$5. The most expensive of them is the Portuguese Pera Manca, whose 30ml glass costs R$191. customer at your choice — so use and abuse the professional for orders.

BEVERINE
Its list offers more than one hundred natural and biodynamic wines by the glass or bottle. The Spanish Volandera, red from garnacha grapes (R$ 23 a glass), stands out. The establishment also has its own label: Piccolo, an orange made with brief maceration, made in partnership with Casa Viccas (R$ 129). The menu, with high turnover, serves freshly made tofu with shiitake preserves (R$29).

MOUTH NERA
The house’s proposal is to offer a wine rotation with 15 labels, among sparkling, red, white, rosé and dessert wine. It is the customer who chooses the rhythm, who can go on nibbling while drinking little by little. The menu includes, for example, Chatelain de Filippon, a wine from the Bordeaux region. To go with it, the mini pizzas can be topped with tomato sauce, raw ham, buffalo mozzarella and pesto (R$ 53).

CANAILLE
It has a reinforced list of wines at good value for money in its letter, which concentrates 60 labels —like the Brazilian Vaccaro Merlot (R$ 16 a glass). For those who want to order a whole bottle, an alternative is Mád Tokaj Kardos Dry Furmint (R$ 139), from Hungary. For snacking and sharing, there’s duck croquette (R$36) and the cheese board and handmade sausages, with dairy products from Serra das Antas (MG), jams, pickles, grapes and dried fruit (R$53).

CIAO! WINE & BEER
It has something for everyone: from wine lovers to beer lovers. The kitchen serves bites like arancini al telefono, the version of the pomodoro risotto ball stuffed with buffalo mozzarella (R$43, six pieces). Serve with the Italians Rosso de Puglia and Nero Davola, both for R$98 a bottle.

HIGH BAR
The inspiration came after Leonardo Mattiuz spent a sabbatical in London, where he worked in a wine bar. At the popular address he opened in the central region, it is possible to try labels by the glass and also order bottles. The small kitchen equipped with a charcoal oven produces recipes that can be shared, such as grilled squid toast with red onion pickles (R$58).

LOS PERROS
A friendly illustration of a dog holding a glass of wine is the logo of this wine bar, which prides itself on having the spirit and atmosphere of a pub. The responsible for the selection of 48 labels is the sommelier Fabiano Aurélio. Bottles start at R$99, and glasses of fine sherry and Port cost R$25 each. The croqueta de jamón (R$29, six units) is on the list of appetizers to go with your drinking.

PALOMA
The bar, at the foot of Copan, is a brother and neighbor of Fel, a bar famous for its cocktails. The purpose of the address is to serve wines in an unpretentious way, without the pomp that still surrounds consumption habits in Brazil —for this reason, it seeks to work with young and less traditional labels. A good way to get to know the house’s work is by ordering the executive lunch, which costs R$55 — and, for another R$15, it comes with a glass of wine.

PROSE AND WINE
At Galeria Metrópole, it serves an extensive list of wines at various prices. There, you can choose from sparkling wines, whites, reds, rosés and liqueurs. Examples include bottles Bellaquinta merlot (R$79), Baoba Chardonnay (R$84) and Prosa e Vinho Rosé, house label (R$86). Pay attention to the view from the top of the building’s third floor, where you can see the Mário de Andrade library and São Luis avenue.

SACRAL CORK
Almost on the corner of busy Rua Joaquim Távora, it is housed in a house with a veranda. There, it serves about ten wines by the glass, rotating, but which always include whites, rosés and reds, such as the Brazilian Pinot Noir Baobá, for R$33. Del Valle Maceracion Macabeo (R$ 220). To go with it, it offers a tapas menu.

VINO!
The group has 35 units throughout Brazil. On the menu, along with the dishes, you can read the recommendation for pairing the drink suggested by the house. One of the possible starters to share is brie with honey and toasted almonds, baked in the oven with strawberries, accompanied by house-made focaccia (R$49) —which goes well with woody chardonnay or sparkling wines from the champenoise method.
