How schools and the public will work today – What applies to stores and banks

From today, public services, schools and shops operate with special restrictions, although no general holiday has been declared, as the bad weather “Elpida” may have subsided, however in many areas, mainly Attica and Crete, the problems are many.

Distance education

The schools will remain closed today and tomorrow, Friday 28 January, after consultation with the Regions, however the lessons will take place with distance education.

Stores

In terms of retail, the stores today can be open from 10.00 to 18.00, while delivery services (courier) and postal services (courier) are not allowed.

Banks

The Hellenic Banking Association recommends to traders to limit their visits to the bank branches as much as possible, as well as to have a previous telephone communication with the specific branch before moving to them.

In particular, EET states:

Vaccinations
