An emergency special flight will be operated today by Aegean for the repatriation of its passengers and all those wishing to return after the devastating earthquake in Morocco.

According to Aegean’s announcement, the A320 aircraft that will make the special flight, will depart without passengers in a few hours, today Saturday, 11:00 p.m. local, from Athens to Marrakech and will depart from Marrakesh Menara International Airport at 02:10 AM (local time) on Sunday, September 10, 2023 to return to Athens International Airport.

All AEGEAN passengers who already have a ticket from Marrakesh to Greece for the next few days and wish to return urgently, are requested to contact the company’s call center at (+30) 210 6261000, in order to change their ticket free of charge.

All those who wish to return to Athens and do not have a ticket, can obtain their ticket from the AEGEAN website (www.aegeanair.com), contact the company’s call center (+30) 210 6261000 or contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs at +30 210 368 1730.

By order of the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Giorgos Gerapetritis, the services of the Ministry are moving in a coordinated manner for the repatriation of Greek citizens who are in Morocco.

To this end, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is in consultation with the Embassy of Greece in Rabat and with Aegean Airlines, which launched a relevant repatriation flight. The special flight will depart from Marrakesh at dawn on Sunday, September 10, 2023, 02:10 (local time), bound for Eleftherios Venizelos International Airport in Athens.
