Regarding the water, Mrs. Agapidaki pointed out that it remains unfit for human use (bathing, washing face, teeth and cooking) – among others – in Volos, South Pelion, Palamas, Farsala, Fiki and Farkadona. In detail the areas where the water not suitable for human use they are the following: Municipality of Volos, Municipality of Palamas, Municipality of Sofadon, Municipality of Argithea, Municipality of Lake Plastira, Municipality of Farsala, Municipality of Kileler, Municipality of Pyli, Municipality of Farkadona.
On the contrary, suitable they are in areas such as Karditsa, Larissa, Tempi, Elassona, Agia and Trikala.
If the water is not suitable for human use, as she said, it should be boiled for 3 minutes and then used after it cools down.
As Mr. Triandopoulos stated, as of today, the regions of Larisa and Fthiotida prefectures also joined the platform for aid requests, while the autopsies continue. Until yesterday it had been opened for the prefectures of Magnesia, Trikala and Karditsa.

Regarding the public health issues, the information was given on the epidemiological surveillance of infectious diseases and the clinical course of the cases treated in the hospitals, as well as the further actions for it informing citizens about practical hygiene issues, but also additional interventions to protect public health.
Particular emphasis is placed on collection of dead animals, which is carried out on the basis of all sanitary provisions. Until this morning at 09:00, according to ELGA data 49,050 sheep and goats, 19,295 pigs, 4,186 cattle and 40,330 birds have been declared. So far, 21,906 goats and sheep, 6,800 pigs, 20 cattle and 23,300 birds have been managed (sanitary burial or cremation).
Regarding the issues of waste management, their collection generally goes smoothly and until the access of all municipalities to the Larissa landfill is restored, the waste is sent to neighboring landfills. From tomorrow a removal operation will begin in Palamas Karditsa.
According to the State Aid data of the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, in the first few days there have been about 4,500 autopsies and inventories of houses and buildings from the ranks of the General Secretariat for Natural Disaster Recovery and State Aid, whose potential is strengthened on a daily basis. It is estimated that by the end of today the autopsies and records will exceed 5,000.
Alongside, the submission of applications to the first aid platform, arogi.gov.gr, continues. As of this morning, 4,150 final applications have been submitted, as well as 2,900 provisional applications, while for villages that were completely affected by the extreme and unprecedented flood phenomenon, the payment to the residents of these villages will be made automaticallywithout submitting an application, but based on the data processed by the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection and the AADE.
Regarding access issues, in the villages of the Thessalian plain, namely Karditsa, Trikala, Palamas, Farkadona, Domokos and Farsala, the waters are still gradually receding today and the road axes are revealed. The road connection with all the villages except Keramidi of the Municipality of Farkadona has been restored.
The residents who asked for it have been removed from all the villages, while those who wanted it remain. Forces of the Fire Brigade remain and continue to operate in all villages to provide assistance and pump wateras well as Army forces and Voluntary Groups to provide assistance, transport supplies and medical material where needed.
A special effort is being made to provide assistance to the mountain villages of Agrafa, Mouzaki and Kalambakawhere helicopters and ground forces of the Fire Brigade and the Army are available which, in accordance with the needs of the Civil Protection of the Local Self-Government, they act to transport supplies, medicines, patients, generators and materials.
Also in the present phase forces of the Fire Brigade of the Army and Voluntary Organizations continue to operate by land and watercraft in the Yannouli Worker Housing areas in Larissa, where the water level begins to recede, in the villages of Tempi up to the Delta of Pinios and in the Municipality of Killeler and especially in the plain of Lake Karla. Finally, on the National Road, the situation is improving as the waters recede, however the road remains closed.
