The Armed Forces participated yesterday 12 and today 13 September in the bilateral air exercise between Greece and Israel under the name “Frizis Damas-23”, within the FIR of Athens and Tel Aviv.
As announced, the exercise was conducted as part of the implementation of the defense cooperation program between Greece and Israel for 2023, and its purpose is to train the participants in long-range complex air operations with the support of Air to Air Refueling (AAR) aircraft. and early warning and control (Airborne Early Warning and Control – AEW&C), as well as dealing with aerial threats and attacking ground targets.
