Accessibility, for the days and times when events are organized at the Lycabettus Theater, will be free for pedestrians and two-wheeled vehicles – Access by car to the theater parking lot will only be allowed for people with disabilities, people over 60 years old, as well as taxis for alighting or boarding
The floodlights of the Municipal Theater of Lycabettus turn on tonight after 11 years, with the great concert of our leading composer Stavros Xarhakos, the proceeds of which will be allocated to the relief of the flood victims of Thessaly.
In the fully renovated and safe theater, whose capacity reaches 6,000 spectators (seated and standing), accessibility, for the days and hours when events are organized in the theater, will be free for pedestrians and two-wheelers, while the approach by car to the parking of the Theater will only be allowed for people with disabilities, people over 60 years old as well as taxis for getting off or getting on.
At the same time, the Municipality of Athens will provide visitors with free transportation using a shuttle bus that will run to and from the theater from 19:00 to 21:30, starting from Sarantapichou Street.
The shuttle bus will be available even after the end of the concert, to facilitate those who wish, with priority given to people who need help.
This year’s theater program, which begins with the concert of Stavros Xarhakos, will continue with special musical evenings until mid-October. See the concerts in detail at www.cultureisathens.gr
