Burglary victim the deputy governor of the Regional Unity of Thessaloniki, Voula Patoulidou, fell.
With a video she posted on her Instagram account, the deputy governor says that her neighbor noticed that three burglars had broken into her house and called the police, while at the same time taking a video of their movements. “God spared us last night and we were all absent from home. My husband, my child and my elderly mother. I don’t want to imagine what would have happened if we were inside,” says Ms. Patoulidou in her post and mentions that burglars disabled the house’s alarm, cut off the electricity and ransacked the house.

Their loot, reports the deputy governor, were “emotionally ‘precious’ objects.” Memories of life and precious moments” and adds that “this feeling of violating your personal space, your refuge where you have gathered all your life, is indescribable”.
Among other things, Mrs. Patoulidou thanks the police for arriving in a few minutes “without knowing whose house was being broken into” and that today she filed a lawsuit against unknown persons.
