The deputy director of the 2nd EPAL Volos, Natasha Oikonomou, and another teacher of the school had a “mountain” of luck, when last night – in their attempt to secure the area – the large iron gate collapsed and fell on Mrs. Oikonomou.

The teacher fell to the ground and hit her head, arms and legs while her colleague took her to the Hospital for first aid.

In her post, Natasha Economou points out that a few days ago, the Municipality of Volos was asked to conduct an inspection of the complex’s safety and sanitary cleanliness in view of the start of the school year.

She points out that if the students had returned to school, it is possible that there would have been victims.

“Dear colleagues, if you haven’t already, ask the Council to audit your schools – and it’s not a pre-election campaign against it, nor are those who say it’s time to deal with the serious issues of city. And look for possible causes of potential danger yourself, to protect yourself and your children.

May we all be well and have a good start in the coming days, without serious problems” the lady says in her post Housekeeper.
