Significant traffic problems are occurring at this time on the New and Old National Roads, at the 162nd kilometer, at the height of Eleonas Aegialia, due to landslides of transported materials after the downpour. Machines from the Region in collaboration with the Municipality of Aegialia are rushing to the scene.

According to Olympia Odos the traffic police proceed to reverse the vehicles towards Patras, and divert the traffic to the old National Highway, in order for them to make a detour from Aigio to Kalavryta to rejoin the National Highway.
Traffic in the direction of Patras is moving normally.
Earlier problems were observed in traffic in Patras – Athens, at the height of Selianitika Achaias, as hail fell.
Hail was recorded in the early afternoon in some areas of Corinth, Achaia and Arcadia. The heavy rain and hail in the Kalavryta area is estimated to have caused extensive damage to the crops.
At the same time, the route of Odontotos from Diakopto to Kalavryta, returned to Diakopto, due to fear of landslides as there is heavy rain.
