According to information, the perpetrator of the crime he appeared remorseful before the prosecutor and asserted that the couple who shot at Saint Panteleimon had known them for many years as they lived in the same apartment building, had friendly relations and did not want to cause harm.
According to police sources, the 45-year-old has already given a statement to the police and is said to have claimed the following about the 74-year-old: “He was drunk, he took out the gun and coldly shot … (states the name of the victim). I begged him to stop because the children were at home. He shot me.”
At the same time, the statements given to the police by the neighbors are shocking as they report that they heard screams of anguish and cries from the couple’s minor daughter, who was asking for help.
