As emphasized in a statement by the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, “the inclusion of agricultural holdings whose fixed assets and equipment were affected by the severe bad weather “Daniel” in the context of first aid against business grants is foreseen by the joint decision of the Ministers of National of Economy and Finance, Rural Development and Food, Digital Governance, and Climate Crisis and Civil Protection (Government Gazette B’ 5893/09.10.2023), regarding the procedure for granting a one-time emergency financial aid, as first aid against a grant to deal with damages caused from the floods that occurred from the 4th to the 11th of September 2023 in the country”.

According to the new decision, in the first aid against a grant those affected who have income from business activity are also included which comes exclusively from agricultural activity and losses were recorded in fixed capital, their equipment, and other means and elements of production.

The amount of the aid is fixed at the amount of 2,000 euros per farm. Applications are submitted at arogi.gov.gr. It is recalled that livestock farms are already included in the first aid support scheme.

Especially for livestock breeders, the details of the applications submitted at arogi.gov.gr can be crossed with the applications submitted in the region.

With the above decisions, the deadline for submitting applications to arogi.gov.gr for the granting of first aid against grants to businesses and non-profit organizations and for the granting of first aid against housing assistance is extended until October 31, 2023.

A corresponding extension is granted to the beneficiaries of a one-off emergency financial aid to deal with basic living needs and simple repair work and/or the replacement of household goods, by joint ministerial decision 21932/9.10.2023 (Government Gazette B’ 5891/09.10.2023).
