“Heavy” fell his pelecys Three-member Motor Vehicle Misdemeanor Court of Rhodes to two English women who entered a private parking lot and when they were asked to leave, they abused the owners and drove their car into one of them, injuring him.

According to the case file that has been filed, the incident occurred in Faliraki, Rhodes, on Monday, October 16 about 8.30 in the evening.

The two English tourists aged 35 and 31 went tothey parked their rental car in a private area where the 30-year-old and his 67-year-old father own.

According to the complaint made by the two men at the Archangelos Police Department, when they asked them to leave, one foreigner abused them and then threatened them and there was an argument.

But the case did not stop there, since subsequently, the 31-year-old English driver of the vehicle reversed and allegedly tried to hit the 30-year-old (according to his statement to the Police) but his 67-year-old father pushed him, as a result of which he was injured.

The incident was reported to the police, the two English women were arrested and criminal charges were brought against them.

The two women were referred to be tried at the Three-member Criminal Court of Rhodes, the trial took place yesterday (after adjournment) and the 31-year-old was sentenced to a total prison sentence of 20 months with a three-year suspension and the 35-year-old to a total prison sentence of 8 months with a three-year suspension.

Before the Court, the two defendants denied what was attributed to them, they claimed that they just wanted to park their car, while they said that they did not notice the 67-year-old’s injury.

The two English women were defended by Mr. Giorgos Kazoullakis, while the Rhodesian victims, i.e. the father and the son, were represented by the lawyers Mr. Nikos Giannas and Pagona Argyrou.
