Today the student parade is planned in Thessaloniki for the National Anniversary of October 28, 1940.

Specifically, according to the program of events of the Central Macedonia Region, the following will take place:

–10.00 am Laying of Wreaths by delegations of students at the Hero of the 3rd Army Corps in the presence of the Deputy Regional Governor of the Metropolitan Unity of Thessaloniki, the Regional Director of Primary and Secondary Education of Central Macedonia and the Heads of the relevant Departments

– 11.00 am Parade of students on Tsimiski Street, according to the program of the Regional Directorate of Education of Central Macedonia

– 12.30 p.m. Laying of Wreaths at the monuments of the Heroes, the Busts and the Andriantes by delegations of students, according to the program of the Regional Directorate of Education of Central Macedonia

Which roads will be closed?

Due to the parade, traffic arrangements will be made:

From 10.30 until the end of the student parade events, all vehicles will not be allowed to travel on the following roads:

-Tsimiski, in its section from X.A.N.Th square. until I.Dragoumi Street.
-Pavlou Mela, in its section from L. Pyrgou square to Tsimiski street.
-In all the vertical streets of the specific sections of the above streets.
