Prosecutorial intervention by the head of the Athens First Instance Prosecutor’s Office occurred for the accident that happened in an office at the Athens Court of Appealwhere the Criminal Record is housed, resulting in injuries to an employee and a citizen.
The head of the Prosecution Antonis Eleftherianos after the incident and the complaints of the judicial officers, ordered a criminal investigation in order to establish whether there were misdemeanors that led to the accident and whether criminal offenses have been committed.
As part of the research statements will be taken from the victims, documents will be requested from the Labor Inspectorate,relevant equipment installation and maintenance documents will be checked, while it will be searched, if any relevant complaint had been made that warned of the danger in the specific area
The investigation was entrusted to the public prosecutor Nikolaos Margaritis.
