The names of 24 Greek citizens are listed among those registered to pass through Rafah to Egypt today
Sixteen Greeks have so far passed through the Rafa border crossing, according to a statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In particular, the announcement states that “following the actions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a total of sixteen people, Greek citizens and members of their families, they crossed today from Gaza into Egypt, through the Rafah border crossing. Twelve of them crossed into Egypt today at noon, while, a little while ago, the safe release of an additional four was completed.”
Greek citizens and their family members are now in Egypt and their transfer to Greece will be planned in the near future.
According to the lists released by the Palestinian border authority 24 Greek citizens appear registered and are expected to cross into Egypt today.
It is recalled that the Rafah border crossing was opened for the first time yesterday, with dozens of foreigners and people with dual citizenship leaving the Gaza Strip for Egypt.
