The action of fascist groups inside and outside schools in Stavroupoli, Evosmos, Ampelokipi and Neapoli is denounced by the Federation of Parents and Guardians Associations of Central Macedonia, inviting teachers and other bodies and trade unions to participate in an anti-fascist rally, organized next Saturday at 17:00.
“We will not allow fear and threats inside and outside schools,” Federation President Thanassis Kokonas told a news conference, citing a series of attacks by members of the self-proclaimed Nationalist Youth of Thessaloniki (ENETH), which began last September. events in EPAL Stavroupolis and Evosmos and continued until recently, with reported attacks on a refugee student outside the Intercultural High School of Evosmos and on students and parents outside the 2nd EPAL Evosmos.
“It is our responsibility to our children to uproot every species fascist ideology and practice. “The fear has been broken, the mouths have been opened”, said Mr. Kokonas.
