No ticket for Taylor Swift? See how to go to themed parties organized by fans in SP

In Brazil, tickets for the shows on “The Eras Tour”, the tour that helped make Taylor Swift a billionaire, sold out in just over 40 minutes.

Still, those who didn’t get tickets for the performances on the 24th, 25th and 26th can listen to the singer’s hits such as “Our Song”, “Fearless”, “Cruel Summer”, “cardigan” and “Anti-Hero”. This, thanks to the “swifties”, as the artist’s fans are called, who organized themed parties with music and decorations by the singer, winner of eleven Grammy Awards.

The setlist celebrates the repertoire of more than ten albums: “Taylor Swift” (2006), “Fearless” (2008), “Speak Now” (2010), “Red” (2012), “1989” (2014), “Reputation ” (2017), “Lover” (2019), “folklore” (2020), “evermore” (2020) and “Midnights” (2022).

According to the organizers, the priority is to play the songs included in “The Eras Tour” and other big hits. Some pop artists, such as Selena Gomez, Billie Eilish, Lorde, Miley Cyrus, Ariana Grande, Demi Lovato and the boyband One Direction get specific songs at the beginning of the program.

The purpose of the event is to unite the artist’s fans, who dress in looks inspired by the different albums, exchange friendship bracelets (or friendship bracelets, in English), sing and dance during an intense seven hours of partying in the early hours of the morning.

The events are buzzing on social media and, together, the TS Party and Festa da Taylor accounts, which promote the activities, accumulate around 70 thousand followers on Instagram. Each party brings together approximately 700 people in the capital of São Paulo.

“I’ve been a fan of Taylor since 2009, around the time of ‘You Belong With Me’. A few years later, I started producing parties in Belo Horizonte and I always liked creating themes for an artist, because I loved seeing fans living that moment”, says Kaique Brandão, producer at TS Party. Editions of the party have already passed through capitals such as Balneário Camboriú, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba, Florianópolis and Rio de Janeiro.

The next parties with Taylor as their theme in São Paulo take place on two dates after her first show in the capital: 11/24, at 11pm, at Estação Marquês, in Barra Funda, and on 12/8, at 10pm, at Carioca Club, in Pinheiros.
