Rods, sticks, knives, axes, flares, smoke bombs were found and confiscated, among other things, in the police investigations carried out in (4) offices of associations of sports fans in Athens.
The investigations of the Police in Athens follow research in Thessalonikiafter the murderous attack on the unfortunate 19-year-old Alki.
Morning-noon today (4-2-2022), police officers of the Violence Management Sub-Directorate in the Sports Facilities of the Attica Security Directorate, with the assistance of other police forces, conducted searches in (4) associations of sports club fans in Athens, Peristeri, Agios Anargyros and Ilion.
As part of the investigations, which took place in the presence of representatives of the Judicial Authority, in an association of fans housed in the center of Athens were found and confiscated:
knife
ax
(2) non-activated flares
(15) wooden and one (1) metal poles
(8) wooden logs with screws
(14) motorcycle helmets
(6) spray paint of various colors
(11) smoke-barrels

The relevant pre-investigation material will be submitted to the Athens Public Prosecutor’s Office.
