At least 4,000 police officers with integrated cameras in their uniforms are on foot

Thousands of police officers will be on the streets and preventive checks will be carried out. In fact, there will be reinforcement of the police forces with MAT squads from the province.
At least 4,000 police officers from all Law, Security and Traffic services while helicopters and drones they will give the picture from the air in order to direct ground forces.
Police barriers and patrols will be determined according to the itineraries of the rallies – marches.
Security measures will also be increased in the area of ​​Exarchia. At 12 noon they have planned a commemorative gathering in the Propylaia and a march by students and students, while a gathering will also take place at the same place at 6 pm by collectives and organizations.
When do “Paneistimio” and “Monastiraki” Metro stations close
“Paneistimio” Metro station will close at 9 am and “Monastiraki” station from 11:00 to 15:00 and from 18:00 until later.
Trains will pass through these stations without stopping.

Emergency traffic arrangements in various road axes of the center of Athens will be carried out during the noon and afternoon hours on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, due to the gatherings-marchs that have been announced to mark (15) years since the assassination of Alexandros Grigoropoulos.

As ELAS announced, the police officers who they will participate in the measures will wear cameras on their uniforms during the checks.
