Players from Athens, Veria, Thessaloniki, Milos, Kastoria, Ptolemaida, Rhodes will be in Thessaloniki in one of the most crowded tournaments in the countrysaid the president of the Panhellenic Scrabble Union Thrasos Myrsinis speaking to the radio station of the Athenian/Macedonian News Agency “Agency 104.9 FM”.
There is no age limit for upward participation, but the minimum age is 16 years.
The matches will be held in western Thessaloniki, specifically at the Lazarist Monastery in 8 rounds and the Scrabble Tournament will be open to all and sundryexplained Thrasos Myrsini.
“As always, this year too two days will have eight lots, all participants will play five matches on Saturday and three on Sunday. The teammates will have a full schedule and I say teammates because in scramble we don’t call opponents” notes Mr. Myrsinis.
