The perpetrators of the bloody attack that took place at 7:00 am on Saturday in Gazi, resulting in the wounding of three people aged 24, 28 and 33, who were shot and killed, are still missing.

The authorities are “dusting off” the material they have collected from the security cameras located in the area as well as from the testimonies of people who were at the scene at the time of the incident. They also estimate that genetic material of one of the perpetrators of the attack will be found on the clothes of one of the three victims.

According to police sources, one of the attackers allegedly raised his fists during an argument before getting into the car and shooting the victims, two brothers, aged 33 and 28, and a 28-year-old friend from Crete in cold blood.

Security cameras have captured the vehicle used by the perpetrators.

It was lease-purchased and had license plates.

The group of Cretans passed by various nightclubs and at about 3:00 they went to a club. At 6:00 they went out and went to eat at a pizzeria located on Iakhou street near the Esqape club.

According to the same sources, a little while later and while two or three of these people were eating, one of the others who was nearby shouted as a charcoal Range Rover passed by. The specific car stopped a little further down and two people, probably a foreigner and a local, got out and approached them. One of the two slapped one of the group, Cretan, and the others reacted, causing the second to pull out a gun and shoot at them.

One of the injured is in serious condition

The wounded who received bullets in the head are still being treated at the G. Gennimatas hospital. They are two brothers, 33 and 28 years old, and a 24-year-old.

The 28-year-old underwent surgery and is hospitalized in a critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit.
