Her post in detail

“Projects Flag and Neighborhood Guilt they came down. “Flag” after being censored by the Greek Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Neighborhood Guilt because of my security concerns.

I want to thank everyone who supports my art and its message and especially the Cultural Committee and the staff of the Greek Consulate in New York who believed in my work and gave it a platform.

We must never stop fighting for the human right to liberty and life. The victims of femicide and domestic violence are heroes of Greece and of every nation.

The Neighborhood Guilt project has 22 houses – one for every femicide victim in Greece in 2022. Each house has notes with their names, age and location and date of death.

Both works are made from sheets donated by women living in Greece, with the stipulation that they used them to rest their bodies and dream of a world where everyone can live safely and the creators can express themselves them and their time without censorship.

Your support brings us closer to a better tomorrow.”
