Co-education within its overall design GEETHA in terms of actionsof military cooperation between Greece and the USA performed on objects Special Operationsin its wider area Attikovoiotia from November 28 to December 15.’
As announced today by the GHETHA, the joint training involved personnel from the GHETHA’s Special Warfare Command and the Air Force, while on the US side personnel from the US Navy Naval Special Warfare Operators (SEALs) teams participated.
During the joint training, educational objects were carried out that contributed to the promotion of the level of operational readiness, combat capability and the exchange of know-how in the design and execution of Special Operations between the participants, highlighting the long-term cooperation of the two countries in the field of Special Warfare.
Specifically, the following were carried out:
● Operations in a marine environment.
● Visit Board Search and Seizure – VBSS.
● Quick Reaction Combat Shots (CQB/CQC).
● Precision shots from a helicopter (Helo Sniping).
● Perform free fall jumps [High Altitude Low Opening (HALO) – High Altitude High Opening (HAHO].
