His lease Megarou Bodosakis on 20 Amalia Avenue, from the Hellenic Parliament, the president of the House, Konstantinos Tasoulas, and the president of the Bodosaki Foundation, Athena Desypri, signed today in the Parliament.

As stated in its relevant announcement Parliament, the exemplary symmetrical corner Bodosaki Mansion on Amalia Avenue 20 and Souri 5, is a historical building of Athens. It bears the signature of Andreas Ploumistos, a founding member of the Hellenic Architectural Society, its construction began in 1949 and was completed in 1958, while in the period 2005-2006 it was radically renovated. It consists of a ground floor, 6 floors and 2 basements, with a total area of ​​13,460 sq.m. The building has an unobstructed view of the National Garden, but also of the important landmarks of the city center: Lycabettus, the Parliament, the Kallimarmaro, the Pillars of Olympian Zeus, but also the Acropolis.

The Bodosaki Mansion will mainly house the administrative services of the Parliament, which are currently housed in various tenements on Sekeri and Vasilissis Sofia streets. Completion of the move is expected to take place within the first months of 2024.
