Joy was reflected in the bright eyes of her hospitalized children University Pediatric Clinic of Larissa University Hospitalwhen they saw this Wednesday afternoon Santa Claus coming down from above to hug them and give them his gifts ahead of the New Year.

Children’s smiles spread warmth everywhere, sending the message of love and solidarity on these holy festive days. A warm event that for one more year a few days before the change of time as it has been established, took place at the PGNL and was held by the University Hospital of Larissa with the 8th EMAK as a valuable assistant.

The event took place in the forecourt of the Pediatric Clinic with many organizations present and of course the parents and children whose faces shone with happiness, seeing Santa Claus handing out their presents.

The Governor of PGNL, Mr. Dimitris Katsikonouris, thanked the 8th EMAK for its help again this year, which distributed gifts and love to the hospitalized children, wishing them a good recovery and health.

The new mayor of Larisaion, Mr. Thanasis Mamakos, noted: “We are here where the 8th EMAK is loyal to the appointment with the children of the PGNL and brings the gifts. I wish you health, a good recovery and that the next year finds everyone at home.”

Konstantinos Balatinas, Deputy Chief, Commander of the 8th EMAK emphasized: “We are here with joy to give pleasure to the children who are in the hospital”.

And this year, the role of Santa Claus was happily played by the radiologist and member of the PGNL board of directors, Mr. George Ioannidis.
