Most of the accused expatriates from countries of the former Soviet Union have been involved in many more crimes related to the Greek Mafiaaccording to an exclusive report by Yiannis Souliotis on .

In accordance with reportage, in 2018 three of the main defendants had participated in the operation of transporting migrants from Western Greece to the Italian coast. In fact, they had been arrested off the coast of Katakolo by men of the Coast Guard, while this case had arisen from an investigation by the EYP, which at that time had focused its attention on people who had close ties to the Russiasuch as the specific defendants.

Another staple protagonist in the cases of the contracts of death who evades arrest but is charged, was associated with the case of kidnapping and murder of a 60-year-old man in 2016 in the area of Mornou.

THE 60 years old he had been linked to cases of smuggling of tobacco products, had been kidnapped and after several weeks of negotiations his body had been found in an irrigation canal in Morno, tied to a stake.

Finally, there is a more recent case which is related to one of the total seven defendants, which has to do with fuel smuggling.

According to the same report it is about one 28 years old expatriate from Agriculture who is also evading arrest and is alleged to be one of the perpetrators of the armed attack with a Kalashnikov at a petrol station in Perea, Thessaloniki in 2022.

EL.AS and the top officials of the Ministry of Citizen Protection appear confident that the same persons are also connected with the murder of the 44-year-old in the early hours of last Sunday outside his gas station.

They reach this conclusion on the one hand because his horrific act is identical to the previous executions and on the other hand because one of the two seen in the video footage is among the defendants.

Yet, there are some strong digital findings that EL.AS has not announced and on the basis of which there may be an investigation of this murder.
