Specifically, the inspections carried out by the National Transparency Authority in two branches of a private company providing diagnostic tests for rapid antigen detection of the SARS-CoV-2 virus (rapid test) in Thessaloniki, regarding the legality of its operation and the services it provides.

During the on-the-spot checks it was found that:

• The employees of the branch did not check the identity of the incoming customers to be tested for rapid antigen control SARS-CoV-2 (rapid test), as a result of which the correspondence between the person actually examined and the declared data for the registration control.
• Assistant nurses practiced nursing operations without holding a license to practice or a certificate of vocational training.
• In the inspected branches, the results of the SARS-CoV-2 rapid antigen tests were registered in the “National Patient Register COVID-19” by company employees using the doctor’s personal passwords, without him being present at the site. of the examination, and without being registered in the Medical Association within the territorial jurisdiction of which the said branches are located.
Purely Infectious Hazardous Waste Containers (yellow bag) were placed in front of the sidewalk branches, open and exposed to the weather, passing citizens and stray animals.
