Through the olive groves moved the farmers of Atalanta to arrive and line up next to Athens Lamia National Road.

Previously, the Police had blocked traffic on the road that leads from the city of Atalanti to the National Highway to prevent the movement of tractors. The farmers found passages through the fields and a little later they placed the tractors at the junction of Atalanti and symbolically closed the National Highway for a few minutes in protest.

Around 50 tractors have been lined up in the area and as they note “in the next few hours more tractors are expected to gather from the wider area and then they will make their decisions”.

At the same time, their colleagues in Lamia, who have set up the roadblock next to the Athens-Thessaloniki National Road at the height of Antheli, remain focused and interrupt traffic on the national network for a few minutes.

In the area of ​​Domokos, where they have suffered damages and are awaiting compensation, the farmers have set up their blockade on the old Lamia-Larissa highway at the height of the village of Neo Monastiri.

In Livadia, the farmers who since yesterday decided to move to the National Road at the height of the Castle remain at the junction of Ai Yiannis on the old Athens-Lamia national road. They themselves call on the farmers of the area to reinforce the blockade.

Finally, mobility also prevails in the villages of Central and Northern Evia and it is possible that today or tomorrow they will gather tractors at various key points.
