A resolution with their demands was submitted to the Prime Minister’s Macedonia Office, which is housed in the Governor’s Office, by a delegation of farmers who are holding a protest rally at the southern gate of the TIF, on the occasion of the Agrotica exhibition.
As the member of the coordination body of the farmers, Kostas Hatziparadeisis, told APE-MPE, the 11-member delegation that went to the Governor’s Office included members of the Beekeepers Federation, who submitted a separate resolution.
Earlier, they held a symbolic protest march at the Agrotica site and submitted a resolution to the TIF administration, in order to forward it to Minister Lefteris Avgenakis during the opening of the exhibition. At 8 pm the farmers will light the beacons and press the horns of the tractors. On Sunday at noon, he added, they will return to the blockades, pointing out that they will continue the mobilizations until the government listens to the farmers’ problems.
