At the customs office of Larissa there are 15 to 20 tractors from the hub of Platykampos which will then go to the Central Square of Larissa – Demonstrations are planned outside the customs office of Evzones for 12 noon today
The farmers continue their mobilizations while the Minister of Rural Development Lefteris Avgenakis located in Brussels in order to participate in the Council of Ministers on the changes to the CAP.
According to what the SKAI journalist reported, Panos Garoufallias, at the customs office of Larissa there are about 15 to 20 tractors from the Platykambos interchange. The tractors crossed city streets and headed towards the Customs Office (above the Farsalon street underpass), which they blocked.
With their tractors the farmers transported hay which they dumped in front of the customs office.
They are then expected to move to the Central Square of Larissa where they will remain for 24 hours.
Similar mobilizations will be carried out this afternoon by farmers from Karditsa where they will march in the center of the city, but also farmers of Trikala and Kalambaka from the block of Vasiliki.
Alongside, Demonstrations are planned for 12 noon today outside the customs office of Evzones where farmers from central Macedonia will gather.
In the afternoon it is expected that there will once again be a symbolic blockade of the customs from 19:00-21:00 for trucks entering the country, while farmers from western Macedonia will hold a similar rally at the Niki customs office.
