As it became known from the Police, the identification of the two drivers was made possible as they had posted on social media a video in which, as vehicle drivers, they developed a high speed on road axes of the Attica basin, thus creating a risk of causing a traffic accident and increasing the danger to other drivers.
Specifically, the two drivers found from the uploaded video material, as the case may be, that:
They were moving in excess of the maximum permitted limits, with speeds between one hundred (100) and one hundred seventy-eight (178) kilometers per hour, on the Athens-Souni highway, from the height of Vari Attica to the height of the area of ​​Agia Marina Attica, while they proceeded to perform impromptu races, at the same time carrying out continuous, repetitive and dangerous maneuvers, without the use of direction change indicators and making illegal overtaking of other vehicles.
They were moving in excess of the maximum permitted limits, with speeds between one hundred and twenty (120) and two hundred and fifteen (215) kilometers per hour, on Schistos Avenue, in the traffic flow towards Keratsini.
They were moving in excess of the maximum permitted limits, with speeds between one hundred and sixty (160) and two hundred and twenty (220) kilometers per hour, on the New Athens-Corinth National Highway, at the height of the Megara area.
