The prosecutor brought criminal proceedings against the 32-year-old for insulting and threatening, with racist characteristics where was arrested accused of the new homophobic attack against the 21-year-old member of the LGBTI community, in Thessaloniki.
The prosecutor referred him to be tried in the audience of the Autoforos Single-Member Misdemeanor Court of Thessalonikiwhile at the same time ordered a preliminary examinationwhich is directed against the victim, for a video he took of the episode in question.

After he addressed the Police, filing a complaint, an investigation followed, resulting in the identification and arrest of the 32-year-old, while the second accused person remains unknown.
As it became known, the 32-year-old has reportedly been convicted in the past for a fan incident at a volleyball match and he was placed under restrictive conditions, which he is being examined if he has breached.
His identification was based on a video taken and presented by the 21-year-old victim, as appears from the petition he submitted. For this reason, the prosecutor ordered a criminal investigation to establish whether the offense of breaching personal data was committed.
