At the Kotroni Air Base in Marathon presence of the prime minister Kyriakou Mitsotakis and the Minister of Defense, Nikos Dendias the Navy receives the three new type anti-submarine helicopters Romeo MH-60R Seahawk.
These are 3 out of a total of 7 Romeo type helicopters which the government is expected to receive in total. The helicopters have sophisticated detection, impact, and countermeasures systems that offer unique capabilities in the 3D battlespace of naval conflicts of our time.
“Greece even stronger” the Minister of Defense wrote in his post about the receipt of the helicopters, Nikos Dendias.

After receiving the first three helicopters, the remaining four will arrive in 2025completing the purchase of the Greek Navy.
