The submission of additional supporting documents for those who have changes in their property status for the first aid for the floods of September 2023 is extended until April 15, 2024, as stated in the announcement of the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection.
In particular, according to the announcement, the Ministry of Climate Crisis and Civil Protection, and in particular the General Secretariat for Natural Disaster Recovery and State Aid, has activated from the first moment the implementation of the state aid framework for the citizens affected by the intense flooding phenomena of September 2023, with the framework including first aid against grant, first aid against housing assistance and household equipment compensation, whose payments also continue.
In particular, with regard to the first aid against housing assistance, but also the compensation for household goods, it is recalled that the payment of the aids is carried out after crossings. It should be pointed out that in the event that it is not possible to cross-check the details of the application with the details of the services of the General Secretariat for Natural Disaster Recovery and State Aid, additional supporting documents may be sought, which are submitted with a relevant application that carries a digital certificate of document through the single digital portal of the Public Administration (gov.gr-EPSP), at the e-mail address [email protected].
Especially in cases of modification of assets, such as real estate that has been acquired or whose status has changed, the payment of the aid is carried out after checks and cross-checks with the necessary title deeds and other supporting documents certifying the modification. For this purpose, the beneficiaries were invited to submit the relevant supporting documents to the competent services of the General Secretariat for Natural Disaster Recovery and State Aid, at the email address [email protected] by March 15, 2024. For the convenience of the beneficiaries, the deadline for the submission of the above supporting documents is extended by new decisions (Government Gazette B΄1802), until April 15, 2024.
“The General Secretariat of Natural Disaster Recovery and State Aid is taking all the necessary interventions and is continuing the process of crossings at an intense pace, so that the aid reaches all our fellow citizens who have been really affected, in a fair and efficient way“, concludes the announcement of the ministry.
