“Only $59.99″… Oh donald trump, who is facing fines and costs in his trials, will be selling $60 Bibles alongside a popular country singer. The former president announced today Tuesday his paid partnership with the country music star Lee Greenwood in order to sell Bibles, his “favorite book,” as he has said in the past.

“Religion and Christianity are the two things that are most lacking in this country,” the Republican presidential candidate said in a three-minute video posted on his website, the Truth Social platform, amid Holy Week before Catholic Easter.

In his post, the former president, who is trying to appeal to evangelical circles, encourages his supporters to buy the Bible he is offering for $59.99.

“Make America Great Again.”

On its website, the organization promoting this particular Bible writes that it is “the only one approved by Donald Trump”. It clarifies that the proceeds will not be used to finance the Republican candidate’s election campaign, but that his image is being used as part of a “paid collaboration.”

The Bible is being sold in partnership with well-known conservative musician Lee Greenwood, whose song “God Bless the USA” is played at all of Trump’s campaign rallies.
