His answer on whether the Rula Pispirigou responsible for the death of her first-born daughter Georgina Daskalaki the Joint Jury will announce today.

After a 14-month process, about 100 meetings, the examination of about 60 witnesses, the evaluation of the positions of the accused and the elements included in the case file, the court today will give its verdict on what is attributed to the 35-year-old accused.

The mother sitting on the bench with a heavy indictment, which considers that she tried to kill her child in April 2021, by administering ketamine in the Karamandane Hospital of Patras and that a few months later, on January 29, 2022, she succeeded in her plan against the life of the 9-year-old, using the same substance, while the little girl was hospitalized at Aglaia Kyriakou Hospital.

The judges are asked to weigh critical issues that mainly concern scientific data regarding the substance ketamine but also the defendant’s position that the case, which has caused enormous interest in a large portion of citizens, is “a huge miscarriage of justice” as argued by the 35-year-old’s lawyer .

During the evidentiary processwith many of the meetings being held in high tones, the positions of the accused against the evidence of the case file, is that Georgina was lost for reasons not related to her, but related either to a poor assessment and management of the child’s condition by the doctors , or due to an inherent genetic condition, which was not detected in time.

According to the accusation, the motivation for the criminal action against her daughter for Pispirigou was specific “pathogenic” characteristics of her personality, as highlighted in her will of impeachment.

The will refers to “ideas of grandeur associated with publicity/celebrity, but not grounded in reality” to the perception that one can gain publicity through transgressive acts, to “constant negotiation between truth and falsehood, real and unreal, to deprivation of any genuine emotion, in a concentration (in a prominent role) of thoughts and investments around her already estranged husband and supporting the accusation, with a deliberate expression of possessiveness about him” in the fear of abandonment that possessed her but also in the “perception of her children as a narcissistic extension of herself”.

The defendant herself emphasized in her apology that “I have nothing to do with ketamines” and that “he is sick” who thought of using her obsession with the children’s father Manos Daskalakis as a motive. The accused’s lengthy apology had strong outbursts and many references to what she went through after Georgina went missing, as she was in front of the authorities as well as angry citizens, while before “all of Greece” stood in the drama of the family from Patras who lost three children .

The court will weigh the allegations of the accused and will also evaluate the prosecutor’s proposal that suggested the guilt of Pispirigou. The sentence of the Prosecutor General’s Office, which lasted more than 11 hours, was so harsh that it had provoked the strong reaction of Pispirigou who had asked to leave the room whispering a swear word when the public prosecutor mentioned that Georgina’s misfortune was that “she had a mother who was the accused”.

The decision of the court, which is expected after 11 in the morningit is estimated that it will also have an impact on the case of the deaths of the other two children of Pispirigou, Malena and Iris, for which the trial has already started.
