Complaints about domestic violence have snowballed, as well from April 1 to 9, 852 complaints were made in the local police stations of the whole country, while the policemen wore handcuffs in 617 people.

Just the last 24 hours complaints reached 141, while the arrests on 73. Out of the 73, 28 arrests were made in Attica. In fact, according to police sources, 5 victims asked to be transferred to structures, as they expressed fear for their lives.

It is reminded that from Saturday to Monday, a total of 9 cases of domestic violence were recorded and with 11 people – mostly men – being arrested by police in regions of Achaia, Ilia and Aitoloakarnania.

In Aetoliko, the police after a woman complained about causing bodily harm and insulting her husband, he was handcuffed.

In Nafpaktos, a foreigner was arrested, whose wife filed a complaint against him for insult, domestic violence, attempted domestic bodily harm and domestic threat, in the area of ​​Antirion.

From Saturday 6th until Monday 8th April were recorded in total 9 cases of domestic violence and with 11 people – in the majority of men – to be arrested by police officers in areas of Achaia, Ilia and Aitoloakarnania.
